I am a Professor of Education at the National Institute of Education and a Principal Investigator at the Centre for Quantum Technologies (CQT). I work principally on light-matter interactions, quantum algorithms and communications, and the foundation of quantum mechanics. I also support an experimental group at the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Nanyang Technological University on integrated photonic chips for optical neural networks and quantum applications.
