NQCH at SupercomputingAsia 2025
We are proud to have been a sponsor and exhibitor for the conference held 10-13 March, which featured quantum in the programme and was a forum to announce new initiatives and collaborations.

A theme of “HPC and Quantum: Empowering AI, Science and Innovation” powered the SupercomputingAsia 2025 (SCA2025) conference in Singapore and drew over 1,500 delegates.

Quantum threaded strongly through the programme, from a keynote address by Quantinuum CEO Dr Rajeeb Hazra, to a full-day track on hybrid quantum classical computing chaired by the Hub’s own Dr Su Yi, Executive Director, Institute of High Performance Computing (A*STAR IHPC) and Principal Investigator for NQCH.

The track’s focus was timely following the 11 March announcement of Singapore’s Hybrid Quantum Classical Computing (HQCC 1.0) initiative at the same event.

During SCA2025, NQCH also announced plans to collaborate with NVIDIA to advance quantum computing in Singapore. A Memorandum of Understanding was signed on 12 March between NVIDIA and NQCH partner organisations A*STAR IHPC, the Centre for Quantum Technologies and the National Supercomputing Centre Singapore (see the news on LinkedIn).

The teams will work on quantum-ready applications in areas including tensor network solutions for combinatorial optimisation problems, simulating quantum transformer circuits for DNA classification tasks and accelerated tensor network-based quantum simulation.

Exhibiting in the Singapore pavillion, NQCH presented its QuTalent learning platform, our work on the Qibo open-source software stack and a new short video about the Hub’s actions and goals.
