My group is interested in the physics of many-body quantum systems out of equilibrium. Within this vast field, we look at fundamental, operational and practical questions. More specifically, for research themes closer to quantum computing, we explore quantum-inspired computing in machine learning and data science, with applications in quantum process tomography and in biology, to name a few. We also study implementations on quantum computers of open quantum system dynamics including quantum transport phenomena.
